  Biographical Information	He was the first president of the Bath (Canada) Historical Society. He is a United Empire Loyalist with a direct line was to the Loyalist family of John Burleigh (1768-1851) and Lydia Richmond (1775-1854). He joined the Toronto Branch of the United Empire Loyalist Association of Canada. He had to travel from Bath to Toronto to attend meetings. In 1956 he worked with Eugene Claude Young and some other members of the Toronto Branch to establish the Bay of Quinte Branch. He was appointed the charter genealogist for that branch and held that position for nearly 20 years, the longest serving genealogist in the association. During the 50th anniversary of the Bay of Quinte Branch UEL he was inducted into the UELAC Hall of Honour.
