Danny Elfman is married to my 10th cousin 2X removed. He is also the artist responsible for "The Simpsons" theme music. In the opening sequence that ran from 1999 to 2009, at the point the music starts playing the shop window on the left side of the street had his name on it.

Eric Stefani my 13th cousin. He was a member of the band "No Doubt" but left after their breakthrough album "Tragic Kingdom" to persue a ful time career as an animator. He worked on "The Simpsons" from 1989 to 1998 as a layout artist and a charachter layout artist. He is credited in 35 episodes.

My 9th cousin 2x removed showed up in episode thirteen of season seven. However, The ex-president did not play himself. The animation was voiced by Simpsons regular, Harry Shearer. The original plan was to build the episode around Richard Nixon however, he passed away before the episode could be made.

James Taylor is my 9th cousin once removed. In "Deep Space Homer" the 15th episode of the 5th season, as homer was in space with Buzz Aldrin he sang his song "Fire and Rain." When he got to the line about "Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground," he realized how inappropriate the lyrics were in the face of the impending disaster so, he backed up and changed the lyrics to "Sweet dreams and flying machines flying safely through the air."

Gwen Stefani my 13 cousin and the band "No Doubt" appeard very briefly in "Homerpalooza", the 24th episode of the 7th season. They were non-speaking background charachers. Gwen is seen wearing a bindi which, was her style at the time.
