WELCOME!
While this project is named in honor of my father who started it, the information contained within goes far beyond the Nagel surname.
On the maternal side, I am a descendant of Thomas Brigham, pilgrim immigrant to the new world, arriving in 1635 aboard the "Susan and Ellen". My Brigham ancestors went on to be pioneer settlers of Michigan.
Other colonial relations include Captain James Avery, Tristram Coffin, Thomas Lane, John Burleigh, Nathaniel Fiske, Thomas Flagg, Edmund Freeman, George Lanphere, Richard Pratt, John Richmond, John Rogers, Isaac Stearns, George Weeks, Rev. Ralph Wheelock and, others still being researched.
On the paternal side I am the descendant of German immigrants, arriving in the late 1800's and settling in Clark County Wisconsin.
The project, in places, also tracks step-families and "married into" relationships that are not generally considered genealogical.
