  	He was born in the "Hive of the Averys"
  		James Avery House In 1656 James built a house that would stand for over two centuries. It became known as the "Avery Hive". It might still be standing today but in 1894 a spark from a passing locomotive landed on the roof of the house and the resulting fire destroyed it.
