  		Tomb of Walter Blount. Tomb of Walter Blount and his wife. Walter's effigy is holding a book in his hands while his wife holds her hands in an attitude of prayer. Walter is wearing armor, his head rests on his helmet and, his gauntlets lay by his side. There is a chain round his neck and, a lion at his feet. This indicates he died by the sword at war.
  		Tomb of Walter Blount. Both of the tombs of Walter and his son Robert were called for in Robert's will of 1573. They were carved by Hereford-based sculptor John Gildon in 1577.
