  Family 1	Daisy Kent,   b. Abt 1890
Marriage	4 Aug 1909	Neighborhood Methodist Church Maywood, Cook, Illinois
While the Reverend was from the Methodist Church the wedding actually took place in an automobile driving along the bank of the Salt Creek south of Maywood, possibly in Lyons, Illinois.

Salt Creek Chicago Illinois. Salt Creek Chicago Illinois. Taken from the 17th Avenue Bridge. Today there are few spots where the creek is close to a roadway and no spots where it is visible. Even the bike trails that run close to the creek have far too many trees and bushes blocking the sight line. One can only imagine what it might have been like on the day that Guy got married.
1908 Automobile Ads. While we don't know what make of automobile Guy chose to use for a wedding chapel these 1908 ads show us the styling of the cars he had to choose from.
