News:
Now in the library; "Genealogy of the Cooke and Cook family". New under the Moments in Time section: my "I Love Me Wall". (purely self-indulgent, I know.)
Description: The Clapp Memorial, Record of the Clapp Family in America, Containing Sketches of the Six Original Emigrants and a Genealogy of Their Descendants Bearing the Name With a Supplement and the Proceedings At Two Family Meetings, by Ebeneezer Clapp. Published by David Clapp & Sons Publishers, Boston, 1876.
The numbering in this list reflects the page number the individual first appears on followed by the individuals number as assigned by the book. It is done this way because the book tracks several colonial emigrants with the surname Clapp and the numbering resets each time.
Note: at one point the original page numbers run... 33-34-37-34-37-38. Individuals in this list are still numbered as stated above using the page number printed on the page.
It should be noted that for every question answered this book raises many more. As always research is on going.
Note: The original file is of a damaged book. Some of the pages were out of order. The page order has been corrected in this copy. In a few cases the damage obscures the original page numbers. On these pages a page number has been added in a larger blue font to indicate it is not part of the original document.
