Mound Cemetery

Notes:
Near the entrance there is a plaque that reads in part:

Mound cemetery derives it's name from the fourteen Indian mounds found here.

On February 3, 1851 this land was purchased by Norman Clark and James Kinzie of the village of Racine from Joseph Ouilmett the Indian of Wausau Wisconsin who owned the burial place of his fathers the Potowatami Indians.
