It is undocumented but, Ann Elizabeth Isham was said to have been in a lifeboat when she was told that she could not bring her Great Dane on board with her. She chose to get out of the lifeboat. She became one of four first class women passengers who died in the sinking. A few days later, a passenger on a passing ship reported seeing a woman's body floating in the ocean clinging to the body of a large dog but, the body was not recovered. |
