Immigration / Naturalization |
He arrived in the United States on 17 Aug 1904 when the ocean liner "Barbarosa" arrived at the port of Bremen, New York. He was 4 months old. He retired from the U.S. Patent Office in 1969. He, himself held several patents. He worked on the Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb. The documents that I've seen his name on while declassified were extremely heavily redacted. It is likely he had no idea what the big picture was. |
