  		Citizen Kane. Following the fame and notoriety of the War of the Worlds broadcast Hollywood courted Orson. In 1939 he signed a contract with RKO Radio Pictures. In 1940 he directed the film "Citizen Kane". It was released in 1941. It is considered by most experts the greatest film ever made.
