Amanda Knox Amanda Knox - An American who spent four years in an Italian prision for the Murder of her roommate. In spite of the fact that another man was convicted of the same murder in 2008 she was was not released until 2011 and not exonerated until 2015. The Italian government still tried to accuse her of making false statements but, she was cleared of that after testifying that a police woman had beaten her as part of her interrogation.
