    In 2021 Fender produced an Ice Blue Signature Chrissie Hynde Fender Telecaster. It's a tribute to the ’65 model she purchased in a New York store nearly 40 years ago. It features faded paint and "road worn" hardware to capture the look of the original. The only real difference from the original is the back plate that goes between the body and neck is emblazoned with the initials "CH".
