| William served as the second president of the Brigham Family Association. He was responsible for bringing the Association up to a status that it was financially independent and individuals no longer had to bear the expense of holding reunions. He also was key in keeping the association on track of it's stated goal to publish a family history. |

The Brigham Family Association (13)
The Brigham Family Association was organized 18 October 1893. It was active well into the late 1950's. One of their main goals was to publish a family history which was realized in 1907 with the publication of "The History of the Brigham Family a Record of Several Thousand Descendants of Thomas Brigham the Emigrant, 1603-1653" and again in 1927 when the second volume was published. |
