Brigham-Hopkins Letterhead. William was the president of Brigham-Hopkins Company, maker of hats. This letterhead was used to write the Commissioner of Pensions in order to obtain information on John Brigham, a Revolutionary War soldier and, William's grandfather for genealogical purposes. I am not sure who signed the letter. |

Brigham & Hopkins Company Building. Built in 1884 the building was designed by architect Charles Brigham. The building still stands today. It is part of the University of Maryland Medical Center.
