Now in the library; "Genealogy of the Cooke and Cook family". New under the Moments in Time section: my "I Love Me Wall". (purely self-indulgent, I know.)
Jim McMahon Jim McMahon commercial "Outrageousness". Runtime: 30 seconds.
McMahon as Receiver. In 1985 the Chicago Bears won 15 games and lost only 1. They won Super Bowl XX 46 to 10. In part is was due to plays like this one where McMahon hands off the ball to running back Walter "Sweetness" Payton. As the field ignores the quarterback McMahon ends up on the other side of the goal line open to receive Walter's pass.
Super Bowl Shuffle. "The Super Bowl Shuffle" is a song performed by players of the Chicago Bears football team in 1985. It was released on December 3, 1985, through the Capitol Records imprint Red Label. They recorded it the day after their only loss of the season at the hands of the Miami Dolphins and, two months prior to their win in Super Bowl XX. It hit No. 41 in February 1986 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The money they raised was donated to charity. Runtime: 5 minutes 46 seconds.
Jim McMahon The self proclaimed "Punky QB" often makes the list when someone compiles a list of "most hated NFL players". Never the less he took the Chicago Bears to the 1985 Super Bowl in a season the included only one loss. The Bears stomped the Patriots that year in Super Bowl XX 46 to 10. My 9th cousin.
