- killed in battle with the Narragansett Indians on March 15, 1676 in the town of Rehoboth. He fought under the command of Captain Michael Pierce, of Scituate. It was a bravely contested battle. Out of 70 whites and friendly Indians, 63 were killed. The company killed about three times their number of Indians.
