  Biographical Information	He was chosen a member of the Provincial Congress that met at Watertown, 31 May,1775. He was one of a committee in 1778 to report on a proposed constitution for Massachusetts, and again, in 1780, to revise the constitution which was rejected by the town. He served about 30 years as selectman, represented the town in the General Court 6 years.
