Cece Bibby.
Cece Bibby.
Cece Bibby is standing by a U-2 spy plane. The pilots hated it because it always seemed to be having mechanical problems so they got Cece to paint this lemon logo on it.

Every time the plane was sent back to the Lockheed corporation for repair they would fix the problem and paint over the artwork. Every time the plane was returned to the squadron the pilots would get her to repaint it.

The path of the Illinois and Michigan Canal is crossed by numerous streams and rivers. Accomplishing this required different methods of engineering and often required a change in elevation. This is lock number six and on of two locktender's houses that have survived.
